Veridea

Veridea will be a new, sustainable, mixed-use urban community constructed on +/- 1,000 acres within the Town of Apex in Wake County, North Carolina. S&EC was engaged by the developer to provide an official species list for federally threatened and endangered species, as well as additional database searches utilizing the NC Natural Heritage Program (NHP). Suitable habitat assessments and detailed botanical surveys were conducted, and coordination with U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) took place during the federal permit application review process. As the project has expanded and been modified, S&EC has continued to provide thorough reviews for threatened and endangered species on the property.
