Cape Fear Aviation
The Cape Fear Aviation project is located at the Wilmington International Airport in New Hanover County, North Carolina. The proposed project included the construction of additional hanger storage facilities. S&EC was engaged by the developer to provide an official species list for federally threatened and endangered species, as well as additional database searches utilizing the NC Natural Heritage Program (NHP). Suitable habitat assessments and detailed botanical surveys were conducted, and coordination with U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) took place during the federal permit application review process.
